Sand Trap Project

The DHGA is trying to raise money in the hopes of repairing and enhancing the sand traps on our course. The sand traps will take the purchase of more sand, repairs to the motorized sand rake, as well as some other small things that must be done to make the ALL the sand traps on the course look great.

At the DHGA meeting last night it was decided to start the "Sand Trap Project".

What we are asking is that every time you hit a ball into one of the sand traps you donate $1 to the "Sand Trap Project". We started this today at the club and have already raised over $20. Everyone had a lot of fun and made a real effort to keep out of the traps. When your round is over you can give your $1 penalties to the pro shop attendant. Write your name down and how much you had to pay on the envelope.

Thanks for helping your club. The DHGA appreciates all your help.
